Pilgrim began with a small group of journalists, cinematographers and storytellers who wanted to document the world with more curiosity and less cynicism. Our projects take audiences to new and unique places that exceed the expectations of our clients. From rooftops of Cairo, and to the rivers of Thailand or shooting music videos, album rollouts, look books and live shows for artists and brands in Los Angeles and beyond.

Those two worlds made us who we are: the honesty and patience of documentary, with the style and pace of music and fashion filmmaking. Today we bring both to brands, agencies and artists, whether the brief calls for a commercial, a campaign, a short documentary or a series.

We're small by design. A tight core crew means we can go anywhere, move fast and stay close to the people on camera. We take a strong emphasis on real people alongside talent, and we go the extra mile (sometimes literally) to push creative limits.
